Troy Polamalu is partnering with TwitChange to give away two tickets to the Super Bowl in New Orleans in a raffle to benefit charity.
Troy is a veteran TwitChange partner. This current campaign is his third with TwitChange. In 2011, Troy first partnered with us to raise funds for Operation Once in a Lifetime — That campaign raised $150,000 for U.S military and families.
This year, fans are given the opportunity to enter a raffle drawing for two Super Bowl XLVII tickets and a travel allowance. All you have to do to enter is to donate at least $10. The more you donate, the more entries you receive, and the greater your chances of winning. (Raffle tickets are $2 each; participants must purchase a minimum of five.)
Proceeds from this raffle will benefit the Polamalu’s fund with the Pittsburgh Foundation and will support U.S. soldiers and their families. Some money will also go toward anti-poverty work in America.
Troy and his wife, Theodora, are champions when it comes to community. The Troy and Theodora Polamalu Foundation is set up to allow the couple to give toward their various charitable goals.
The Pittsburg Foundation is one of the nation’s oldest community foundations. Through the foundation, individuals, organizations and businesses are able to set up endowment funds to benefit not only the Pittsburgh community, but also other causes beyond the borders of the city.
