Here we go, TwitChange readers — here’s a cause we can all get behind, and the perfect reminder that doing good doesn’t have to be difficult!
PUMA has launched the 2012 season of Project Pink with celebrity supporter, Ashley Tisdale. This is the third season for Project Pink. Last year, PUMA and Project Pink donated more than $100,000 to the Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation.
Nominate your favorite breast cancer awareness cause to Project Pink and that organization could win up to $120,000! Do you know of a breast cancer support group, awareness organization or research organization? Go to www.puma.com/projectpink now through September 21 to nominate your favorite breast cancer cause.
Starting on September 24, nominated organizations will be up for voting. The winning organization, which will be announced in October, will be given 100 percent of all profits of sales from Project Pink PUMA gear.
Additionally, PUMA will donate $1 for every tweet with the hashtag #projectpink to the winning charity. $1 per tweet, per day, per user (up to $30,000.) If you don’t do anything else, at least post one tweet a day using #projectpink!
Check back regularly to see the Project Pink Charity Gallery and learn about nominated charities and causes.
Breast cancer has touched Project Pink celebrity ambassador Ashley Tisdale’s life personally. Her grandma recently battled breast cancer, the actress, singer and producer said. Her grandmother is now in remission, but Ashley’s passion to raise awareness and help fight the disease remains.
