The Do Good Experience is a nationwide movement that inspires a new generation, known as the “millennial generation,” to impact culture through social good. DoGood is a catalyst for action amongst millennials, inspiring and equipping them to use their talents to tackle issues such as homelessness, clean drinking water, sex trafficking, and other social issues plaguing culture today.
DoGood is exposing millennials to the realities of living in the margin, the need for social justice, the opportunities that exist for ministry and bringing awareness to social needs, said DoGood founder, Vince Hungate.
This generation has the DNA to usher in change but what they are missing is the experiential know how. Therefore, DoGood hosts both large events and small, boutique gatherings for social good incubation development to help millennials in their endeavors. The problems faced by today’s youth are extensive. Now more than ever, this nation needs a generation of young people who are willing to stand for what is right; who are willing to stand for truth.
The DoGood Experience hosts annual events in Atlanta, GA and Los Angeles, CA, which include some of today’s top leaders in Christian ministry and social innovation. Within the conference, students are given local volunteer and service opportunities while being inspired through social influencers and worship. DoGood’s goal has and will continue to be to inspire young adults and their student leaders in the present, so that they may continue to impact the future. It’s the idea of not just hearing but doing.
DoGooder’s are intentional about community. It’s what we’re about, and it’s who we are.
As we grow together, it’s important to develop a place where the next social innovators can connect their passions, convictions, and ideas with other Do-Gooder’s throughout the country and around the world. The DoGood Experience is a culmination of years of thought and prayer; a movement under the unashamed belief that millennials can impact culture. The DoGood Experience is a place where the next cultural entrepreneurs will transform their community through love and service. DoGood is all about the next big ideas and shaping the leaders of our next generation with the practical tools and hands-on experience necessary to be culture movers, makers, and molders for the rest of their lives.
